Skyline 2027 returns to Ace*Mission with a second warehouse stage as tickets go on sale today

In one line

Skyline Festival, the house and techno event produced by Insomniac's Factory 93, returns to Ace*Mission in downtown Los Angeles on 27 and 28 February 2027 for its sixth edition. It adds a second indoor warehouse stage to its open-air stages and promises more than 60 artists. Two-day passes go on sale today, 16 October, with no lineup announced yet.

Insomniac has locked in the next edition of Skyline, its Los Angeles festival built around house and techno. The sixth Skyline takes place on 27 and 28 February 2027 at Ace*Mission in downtown Los Angeles, the site the festival moved to for its 2026 edition. Production sits with Factory 93, Insomniac's underground focused brand.

The headline change is indoors. Skyline is expanding its warehouse programming from one to two indoor stages, alongside its open-air spaces. Coverage of the announcement expects the four outdoor stages from this year, named after Los Angeles neighbourhoods, to return. Organisers promise more than twelve hours of music a day across more than 60 artists, with official afterparties inside the warehouse and the vinyl market coming back.

Tickets go on sale today, before a single artist has been named. Two-day general admission and two-day Stage Access passes, the premium tier, open at noon Pacific time, with an SMS presale an hour earlier. That is now standard practice for Insomniac's festivals: sell on the strength of the brand and the venue, then announce the lineup once early buyers are in.

For artists and managers, the second warehouse room matters most. Indoor stages at American festivals are where darker, faster techno usually gets programmed, because the sound and lighting suit it and the room can run late. Doubling that space gives Factory 93 more slots for the kind of club acts it books for its own parties, and makes a February date in Los Angeles more interesting for European techno artists planning a US run.

The calendar helps too. Late February sits after the European winter club season peaks and ahead of Miami Music Week and Ultra in late March, where Drumcode takes the RESISTANCE stage in 2027. Agents building a US routing for early 2027 now have a West Coast anchor to work around, and the window between Skyline and Miami is long enough to fill with club dates in between.

If you represent a house or techno act with US momentum, now is the time to get in touch with the Factory 93 team, before the first lineup phase closes the obvious slots.
