Insomniac turns EDC Las Vegas 2027 into 12 days, with pop-up parties spreading across the city

In one line

Insomniac has announced 12 Days of EDC for May 2027. EDC Las Vegas runs two weekends at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, EDC Dusk on 14 to 16 May and EDC Dawn on 21 to 23 May, while Camp EDC stays open from 13 to 24 May and pop-up parties, a free art show and a concept store fill the days in between.

Insomniac has filled in the gaps of its biggest bet yet. EDC Las Vegas was already confirmed as a two-weekend festival for 2027, and the company has now revealed what happens around those weekends: 12 Days of EDC, a programme that runs from 13 to 24 May and spreads the festival into the city itself.

The core stays at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. EDC Dusk runs from 14 to 16 May and EDC Dawn from 21 to 23 May, and fans can pick one weekend or both. Demand for the expanded format is not in doubt: Insomniac said back in May that Dawn weekend passes and combo passes for both weekends had sold out, with only limited Dusk passes left.

What is new is the week in the middle. Insomniac plans 12 days of pop-up events and parties across Las Vegas, in warehouses, clubs, city landmarks, art galleries and less obvious spaces, plus opening and closing parties for each weekend. Camp EDC also stretches across both weekends for the first time, so campers can stay from Thursday 13 May to Monday 24 May.

Hotel EDC becomes a cultural hub for the full 12 days. It will host Beyond The Rave, a free art show of photography, graffiti, paintings, rave flyers, poster art, sculpture and collectibles from established artists and people inside the scene, and the first Insomniac Concept Store, with meet-and-greets, DJ appearances, exclusive releases and a vinyl shop.

For artists and agents the real story is inventory. A city-wide programme between two festival weekends means far more slots than the speedway stages alone: club nights, warehouse parties, label takeovers and smaller rooms that suit underground acts, and a stronger case for routing a US run around the second half of May. It also means more competition for attention in one city in one fortnight, so acts booked across the 12 days will need clear reasons for fans to choose their show.

The art show and concept store point the same way. Insomniac is treating EDC less as three nights in a field and more as a culture week with merch, vinyl, visual art and meet-and-greets around the music. For producers with a release or a label to push, that opens doors beyond a DJ slot: exclusive drops, signings and appearances that sit inside the festival story rather than competing with it.

Line-ups and pop-up locations have not been announced yet.
