EDC lands in Colombia: deadmau5, Richie Hawtin and 80 plus artists for Medellin debut
Insomniac announced the full lineup for its first EDC Colombia on June 10, 2026. The festival runs October 10 and 11 at Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot in Medellin with over 80 artists across five stages, headlined by Alesso, deadmau5, ILLENIUM and Kaskade.
Electric Daisy Carnival is finally coming to Colombia. Insomniac published the full lineup on June 10 for the festival's Medellin debut, set for October 10 and 11 at the Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot, produced with local promoter Paramo Presenta.
The bill runs past 80 names. Alesso, deadmau5, ILLENIUM and Kaskade headline, with a back to back from Afrojack and Green Velvet in the undercard. The techno column reads like a festival of its own: Richie Hawtin, Boris Brejcha, ARTBAT, Nico Moreno, 999999999 and ANNA, while Armin van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Vini Vici and Infected Mushroom carry trance, and Chase and Status bring the drum and bass.
Production-wise, Medellin gets the real thing: five classic EDC stages, kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN, bionicJUNGLE and stereoBLOOM, plus brand takeovers from Factory 93, Dreamstate and Time Warp.
Demand is already ahead of supply. GA plus and VIP tiers sold out on the pre-sale waves; the remaining GA allocation goes on sale Friday, June 12 at noon Pacific. For South American electronic music, an EDC flag in Medellin is a statement about where the market is heading.
