A State of Trance is coming to Los Angeles for two days. Armin van Buuren announced the brand's first two-day festival in the United States this week, set for 11 and 12 June 2027 at ACE*MISSION Studios. The event sits inside the ASOT 25th anniversary year, and coverage from Beatportal, We Rave You and trance outlets confirms the dates and venue.

Los Angeles is not new territory for the brand. ASOT 550 had its own stage at Beyond Wonderland in 2012, and in 2022 the ASOT 1000 celebration took over the Banc of California Stadium for one night. What changes now is the format: a full two-day festival under the ASOT name, rather than a stage inside someone else's event or a single night, which gives the brand full control over programming, production and the fan experience across the weekend.

The announcement also confirms an A State of Trance hotel package for Los Angeles, following the model the brand has used around its European editions in Rotterdam and London. The exact package and activities have not been announced. Past hotel packages have included extras such as pool parties and pre-parties around the main event.

There is no line-up yet. Ticket and line-up details will follow, and registration for ticket and hotel package access is already open. Announcing dates, venue and a hotel package eight months ahead, before a single artist is named, shows how much the brand itself now sells the weekend: fans are being asked to commit to ASOT as an experience first and to the bill second.

For artists and managers, the bigger story is how a Dutch radio brand has turned into a portable festival format. ASOT built its audience through a weekly show, then took that identity into arenas and festival weekends abroad, and now adds hospitality around it. Trance and progressive acts hoping to land on the bill should remember that the festival grew out of the radio programme, so building support on the show itself remains a sensible first step. For any DJ building their own night, it is a reminder that a recognisable brand, not a venue, is what travels.
